Fresh goat milk is unstable. It needs heavy preservatives the moment it's formulated into a shelf product. Powdered milk solves the stability problem but it's reconstituted with water from somewhere else, which dilutes the proteins and fats that make goat milk worth using in the first place. We freeze-dry our own milk on the farm the same week it leaves the goats. The proteins, fats, and lactic acid stay intact, and we formulate without the preservative load.
Every drop. The herd lives in our pasture, the milking parlor is on the property, and the freeze-dryer is a short walk from the parlor. There's no middleman, no co-packer, no bulk milk shipped in from elsewhere. The hands that milk the goats are the hands that make the skincare.
The full catalog ships from the farm at thegildedgoat.com. You'll find ingredient lists, product demos, and the serum-pearl quiz that helps match products to your skin. We also bring inventory to every market appearance, so if you'd rather sample before you buy, the Markets page has upcoming dates.

My grandma Della taught me to make soap when I was a little girl. She said take your time, measure honest, and don't rush what wants to set up slow. Nearly seven decades later, I'm still measuring with the same hands.
